I have a few crafty ideas mulling around in my head, but I need to get in my crafty room and try them out!

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Kansas!  Heading for a high of 78 - can't beat that for November.  Busy week ahead, lots of house cleaning to do today.  Sure wish those darn cleaning fairies would stop by my house.  I have some project ideas swimming in my head, now just to pin them down and find time to try them.

Scrapbook Crop - September 11th

I had my fifteenth scrapbook crop on Saturday September 11th.   We had alot of fun.  Lots of scrapping, laughing, chatting and of course eating.  Rebecca with Creative Memories and Scrappy Days from Russell was there and had some nice products to share. 

Storms, storms and more storms

The last couple of nights we have had storms.  Rain, hail, winds.  My vegetable garden is ruined, my hostas look like they were chewed up, most of the apricots on 2 trees were ruined.  I am ready for just some light nice rains and no more storms!

Fresh Taste of Summer House Party was a hit!

My party is over and everyone had fun. Had a couple that didn't make it. I made a batch of salsa and and 2 batches of pepper jelly the weekend before, so I would have cooled jars to hand out to guests. Then for the party we canned salsa. I prepped half the ingredients ahead of time, to make it go easier at the party. This time I ended up with 19 jars of salsa. While the salsa was processing, I served Chips and Salsa, Pepper Jelly over Cream Cheese with Crackers and Margaritas. Along with their goodie bags everyone got to pick an extra item (measuring cups/spoons, spatulas, wooden spoons), each got 2 jars of salsa and 2 jars of pepper jelly to take home. Then I had a drawing for the Ball Preserving Book. They all were impressed with the Ball products.

I won a House Party Ball Canning Party Pack. It is AWESOME! I am so excited. I am having a canning party on June 5th to show all the cool products. I tried the recipes out the other day, Salsa and Pepper Jelly.

Pillsbury Crescent

Pillsbury sent me cookbooks, coupons for Pillsbury Crescents, an apron and recipes to try. It was so much fun and the recipes were great! Alec was eating them faster then I could make them!
